Excelent performance of CSD 3000 Plants gives an asphalt production record to Odebrecht

The works of duplication in BR-163, at Rondonópolis, was reinforced for the works of duplications and improvement on the part of the road of concession from responsibility of Rota do Oeste, company of Odebrecht TransPort. Inaugurated in the beginning of this year, two plants LINTEC CSD 3000, with production capacity of 240 tons per hour each one, to give the continuity of the asphalt application works. It gives, belong other positives operation attributes of the company, the record of production and anticipation of the ending of the work.

In accord with the responsible for Industrial Plants of Odebrecht Infraestrutura, Mr. Paulo Jeffery, the acquisition of the plants was an important step for the works of highway transformation. “The Odebrecht found on the market the high technology with high production capacity. It is the engineering in service effectives resulted”, commented.

According of Construction Company information, besides of the Lintec plants, invested on high technology and manpower to ensure the quality of the works, with the acquisition of more than 800 machines and around three thousand people mobilized in two job sites.

The asphalt plants CSD 3000 have been installed strategically at km 95 and at km 51 of BR-163, and have numerous advantages, like low transport cost, concrete foundation not required, quickly assembly, besides the notable fuel economy.

 

PROGRESS OF WORKS

The first duplication was ended in May and in July the second part of the works was ended, completing 55 kilometers of new roads at the south of Mato Grosso, approved by Agência Nacional de Transportes Terrestres (ANTT). From July to August, as reported by ABCR, the works progressed more of 20 kilometers. In all, where 76,6 kilometers of road ended in the beginning of the second semester of 2015, this target by the contract would get ready just in March of 2016. “It shows that we are here compromised and ready to do with quality and speedy, as that highway user needs. Could be reduced the rhythm of the works to adequate of contract schedule, but we understand that in respect of State and the importantly of BR-163 for Brazil, we go ahead with total strength”, told the General Director of Rota do Oeste, Mr. Paulo Meira Lins.

The objective is that the drivers can use the highway with the full capacity for the harvest transportation in 2016. The accelerate rhythm of work also is to ensure a good progress of work during the period of drought, before the beginning of the rain season.

 

OVERCOME EXPECTATIONS

In a statement on october, the Construction Company informed the record of productivity in the works of duplication of BR-163. In September were produced and apply 66.342 tons of material, equivalent to 33,5 kilometers of highway, more than one kilometer per day. Is the largest volume register by the company history on the road segment.

The performance of CNO on BR-163 overcome the result of others large projects like Rodoanel Mário Covas at São Paulo, with production of 45 thousand tons per month and Ruta del Sol at Colombia, with production of 19 tons per month.

In 2016, the machines will be transferred for the north region of the State, for give continuity to the duplication of BR-163. As informed by Ministry of Planning, up to 2019, the Rota do Oeste must duplicate around 450 kilometers of highway, between the border of Mato Grosso do Sul and Rondonópolis.
